Friday Already!?

This week seemed to fly by! It is already Friday and we don't have any plans this weekend! The weather should be beautiful, so I anticipate spending plenty of time outside.

1. Spring Dresses: With the weather warming up I have really enjoyed dressing Harper in cute little dresses. Dressing her is easy, but getting a picture is tough these days!

2. Speaking of warm weather....I broke out the baby pool the other day! She had a blast!

3. Vacation booked: On Tuesday, the Reals came over to book our summer vacation. We cooked fajitas and margaritas to get into the Mexican spirit!  If you need me in July I will be on the hammock drinking a margarita or maybe a pina colada...or both!

4. Park time: Harper enjoyed her park visit with her Gramps!
5. Shopping with my bestie: I love to shop with this little lady. Granted, we only go places that have shopping carts. We spent the afternoon picking out new plants for the back yard at Home Depot. Iced water was a must on this hot day!

Happy Happy Friday!

YAY it's Friday! I didn't even realize it until Ryan reminded me that he will get up with Harper tomorrow since it's Saturday. I think I will keep him ;)

1. Landa Park: In the past week we went to Landa Park twice! The first time we met Aunt Kat and Cam for lunch and playtime! Harper and Cameron are both excellent walkers now so they had a lot of fun together! On Monday we met two other moms from our MOPS group to play and ride the train. All 4 kiddos played great together!

2. Mail time: Harper looooves to check the mail everyday. Her Aunt Jen knows how much she loves it and sent her the sweetest package. Harper was very happy and immediately asked me to read her the book. We are so bless to have her as Harper's Auntie!

3. Trouble: I went to the restroom really quickly and came back to Harper having a snack on the dining room table. She is very clever and uses the chairs as a stepping stool.

4. Speaking of trouble: I wonder where she learned her down dog move???

5. Outdoor time: It has been beautiful lately after Harper's nap so we like to go outside and explore. She loves to do anything our neighbor Olivia is doing. They enjoy making "pencils" together out of sticks, riding bikes, and helping their mommas out in the yard! We are so lucky to have such a sweet neighbor that Harpie can play with!

Cheers to a wonderful week!

Friday Favorites

This week was spring break! Spring break used to be a big deal when I was teaching, but now that I am a stay at home mom it just means the parks are busier than usual this week ;) Either way, we made this week memorable!

1. We started off the week with an doctor visit for Harper's 18 month check up. We followed it up with a cookie because little lady did such a good job at the doctor! Harper is literally "off the charts" in regards to her height. Little lady is the height of an average 2 1/2 year old!

2. Tuesday afternoon was gorgeous so we spend the afternoon outside playing with the neighbors. Harper loved putting on her pretend glasses and scooting around!

3. Inflatable Wonderland: I was a bit skeptical of this place because I thought Harper was too young. She definitely proved me wrong. She loved that place! She is such a dare devil climbing to the top of the slide. She was happy to see her friends and we are excited to go back when it is not sooo busy!

4. Harper meals: Over the past two days I have tried to take pictures of Harper's meals. I love making  meals for her because she gets so excited! Plums and blueberries are her favorite this week!

5. I have been eying these shoes all week. I might have to take the plunge!

This weekend we have a fun brunch planned at Jordan's with all of the hairdolls and their kiddos! I can't wait! It is going to be such a fun afternoon. Day drinking, happy kiddos playing in the backyard, and beautiful weather are in our forecast!

18 Month update!

Last Friday Harper turned 18 months! I cannot believe how quickly time flies! People say it all the time, but I never realized it until we had Harper.

Harper is talking more and more each day. The other night Ryan and I sat down and wrote down all of the words she can say (momma, dada, ball, dog, cheese, night night, outside, yeah, uh huh, and plenty of animal sounds!) As we wrote them we realized she understands so much more than she can speak. Every night we ask her if she had a good day and she always replies,  "Uh Huh" with a sweet smile. We are so blessed.

She has continued to be a very good eater. She eats pretty much anything we make or order. She really is not picky at all...we pray this continues. She is currently loving: strawberries, avocado, humus, blueberries, apples, sweet potato fries, and cheese.

She has been very adventurous lately.  She is in constant motion... running, climbing, pushing her stroller. Three is never a dull moment!

Harper's typically sleeps 12 hours at night (7:30-7:30) and takes a 1 1/2-2 hour nap from 1-3 each day. She really loves her crib and she only gets her paci at bed time these days.

Prepare yourself for photo overload!
