7 months!

Happy 7 months sweet girl! Over the last month you have experienced so many new things! You started eating your first foods. Your favorite vegetable is zucchini and you love all fruits, although you do NOT love being sticky. You get a bath after you eat fruits because you fuss until you are clean.  You are trying so hard to crawl. You get on your hands and knees and rock back and forth. I see you staring at where you want to go...but usually you end up scooting backwards. Not to worry, you have perfected rolling and scooting forward on your tummy to reach for toys. You burst out laughing every.single.time daddy throws you in the air or when someone tries to tickle your neck.Your new favorite toy is your hairbrush...it is the only way to keep you still during a diaper change. You try to roll over on your tummy so I give you your hairbrush and you are content.

You still take two naps a day, sometimes three if you are really tired. You usually wake up between 7-8 in the mornings and you always wake up happy! We are so blessed to have such a sweet, happy baby!

 Yummy watermelon!

 Blueberries...
Her reaction to being out of blueberries :(
You love being outside and you love to watch me water the grass. You get lots of waves and visits from the neighbors when they see you!

6 Month adventures

These past few weeks have been exciting in Harper's little life! Over the past few weeks she has started on solid foods and is officially on the move. Harper rolls for toys and has learned to scoot backwards. I see crawling in our near future!

Loves looking up at the fan!

I was in the kitchen and I heard Harper turn on the TV with the remote. I giggled to myself because she was watching Housewives. Within a minute she changed the channel to cartoons. I guess Bravo TV is not her favorite channel!
Friday night= Snuggles and Frozen

Rolls into everything!

 Black beans are fun...but messy!

She is so content watching my work in the yard. So much to look at!

 Rolling across the room..

 Not a fan of peas

6 Months!

I cannot believe little Harper is 6 months old! We went to the doctor Friday for her 6 month check up... She is growing healthy! Harper has become very active, loves to kick her legs and enjoys sitting up (with assistance). She has started to push her booty in the air like she is thinking about crawling. She has also become an expert in spotting a toy and grabbing it. Each time she grabs a toy or her paci you can see how proud of herself she is!

Even though Harper is active (kicking and moving around on the floor) she still loves to cuddle. Each morning she wakes up and looks forward to playing with Daddy before he goes to work. She would rather play with him than eat first thing in the morning. She has loves to giggle and smile each morning, it really is the best way to wake up!

Harper loves spending time with Jordan in the morning while Mommy goes to workout. When Jordan or Lyric look at her she instantly smiles...which makes leaving her so much easier. It is nice to know she is safe, cared for, and loved while I am away.

Over the next month we will be introducing solid foods. She has already expressed interest in what Mommy and Daddy are eating. Harper grabs for anything that we put in our mouths. Ryan and I are both excited to help her explore different foods!

5 months

It's hard to believe Harper is 5 months! Time flies when you are having fun!

This month Harper continued to learn how to roll. She loves to rock side to side when she is laying flat on her play mat. She is also enjoying playing with her feet. They are currently her favorite toy :) (besides the remote!)

People have commented to me how strong her grip is! She loves to play with toys...anything with sound and texture!  She still loves to take naps snuggled in between pillows and we continue to swaddle her at night. Although, every morning she wakes up with her left arm in the air! Every morning we wake up to her sweet cues and giggles. Even when it's early- it's the sweetest sound!

Harper has become very interested in what Mom and Dad are doing, what we are eating, etc. Ryan continues to be an amazing Dad and always explains things to her. She thinks he is the funniest person ever. As soon as he walks near her she starts to giggle. She can tell he is about to do something silly! I continue to sing to her everyday..and she keeps laughing!
