Life Lately!

Wow the past two months have been crazy busy! We have had a lot of great, quality family time!

Harper's First Movie! We met her friends at the dollar kids movie. She did so good...for about an hour and a half! After that she packed up my purse and said, "Home!" Harper was the youngest of the bunch, but I was impressed how well she did!

4th of July at the Lake: We had such a great time at Lake Lbj, We went down Thursday and stayed until late afternoon on Sunday. We had the best time playing with family and friends. We are so blessed to have so many people to spend fun holidays with. Harper took naps like a champ and even slept thru the fireworks!

We have had a lot of pool days..resulting in a tan toddler!

First illness....pink eye! These drops must be made out of unicorn tears...they are VERY pricey!

Mommy was able to sneak away for a few nights to celebrate my college friend (Mindy) who is getting married in August!

This little lady figured out how to peel stickers. She gets a kick out of looking at her belly after she fills it with stickers!

Overall, we are having a great summer!

1. Water Baby: This little lady absolutely LOVES the water! 

2. Girls night: On Monday, the girls and I got together to have one last dinner before Miss Haven makes her debut! Cannot wait to meet her!

3. Story time: Lately Harper has loved going to the local library for story time! She sits in my lap and listens to the librarian sing songs and read books. After class, she likes to run around with her friends and then relax with a book!

4. Rain, rain go away!: Our swim lesson was cancelled the other day due to the thunder storms. Harp knows when we put on her swimsuit we are headed to swim lessons. I hated telling her it was cancelled :(

5. Potty Training: Harper has started showing signs of being ready to potty train. I snapped this picture the other day after her nap and it made me smile. She looks like a baby and a big girl at the same time! A friend told me to save this picture for the wedding rehearsal dinner :)

2. What I am reminiscing about: Yesterday I was cleaning out Harper's closet and I was remembering how little she was. Time went too quickly!

3. What I am loving: Outside time with Harper and Ryan. She tends to belly laugh when she is outside playing with Daddy. I love to watch them interact!

4. What we've been up to: The usual: Gym, playground, play dates, errands, cleaning, laundry! Oh and I had my class reunion last weekend!

5. What I am dreading: Continuing to spring clean.

6. What I am working on: Clearing out a flower bed in the back yard. It is overgrown and needs some love. Yesterday, Harper and I went and picked out a few plants and flowers for the flower bed!

7. What I am excited about: Well besides up coming vacations..I am excited to start swim lessons with Harper next week!

8. What I am watching: Housewives of NY, Scandal, True Detective and House of Cards.

9. What I am listening to: Oddly enough....Blink 182 Pandora!

10. What I am wearing: This week it has been a workout clothes all day week. But the good news is I have worked out everyday this week and have started the process of Spring cleaning!

11. What I am doing this weekend: Friday we are getting together as a family to celebrate my Sister in Laws birthday. Then on Saturday we are meeting friends at...

12. What I am looking forward to next month: Memorial day Beach trip!

TGIF and Easter in one!

1. Massage time: Last night I taught Harper how to rub my feet with lotion. She thought it was hysterical and I didn't mind the massage :)

2. Sushi Date: We went out for Sushi Zushi happy hour this week and took Harper with us. She is a big fan of sushi. She ate pretty much a whole California roll by herself!

3.Monday: Harper decided to wake up super early on Monday..when I looked over at her I couldn't help but laugh. I feel like this is a poster pic for "case of the Mondays".

4. Easter Sunday: On Sunday morning we went over to the Wyatt ranch to celebrate Easter. The kids had an Easter egg hunt and had a lot of fun opening up the eggs. As I looked around I realized how much love surrounds our sweet kiddos! I was amazing to have both sides of the family celebrating together!

5. Saturday Shopping: While Harper was napping I decided to go do a little shopping while Ryan stayed home. I took home this dress to wear to Easter, as well as an upcoming baby shower. Shopping without a toddler was Glorious.

Friday Already!?

This week seemed to fly by! It is already Friday and we don't have any plans this weekend! The weather should be beautiful, so I anticipate spending plenty of time outside.

1. Spring Dresses: With the weather warming up I have really enjoyed dressing Harper in cute little dresses. Dressing her is easy, but getting a picture is tough these days!

2. Speaking of warm weather....I broke out the baby pool the other day! She had a blast!

 

3. Vacation booked: On Tuesday, the Reals came over to book our summer vacation. We cooked fajitas and margaritas to get into the Mexican spirit!  If you need me in July I will be on the hammock drinking a margarita or maybe a pina colada...or both!

4. Park time: Harper enjoyed her park visit with her Gramps!

5. Shopping with my bestie: I love to shop with this little lady. Granted, we only go places that have shopping carts. We spent the afternoon picking out new plants for the back yard at Home Depot. Iced water was a must on this hot day!
